Welcome to Prospect Valley Hospitality A Peaceful Property
The Duel Uses of Prospect Valley Hospitality (PVH) are as a nickname for an 1872 multifamily residential property AND the inspiration for a 2001 nonprofit Christian Ministry named Prospect Valley Hospitality, Inc.
This property functions as a personal residence with two regular year-to-year, unfurnished, rental units; the “Upstairs Riverview” 1-bedroom apartment and the 2-bedroom “Cottage”.
Attached to the main residence, inside the former 1800’s general store, is a furnished in-law “Studio” apartment. The “Studio” is usually reserved for use by the 501 (3)(c) non-profit for the purpose of hosting month-to-month full-time, Christian ministry non-profit workers. These people make great sacrifices to do things such as build orphanages, run medical clinics for the poor or dig wells in dry communities worldwide.
Whatever brings you to PVH, welcome and may you be blessed by our peaceful gardens, gazebo, pond, picnic area and garden prayer chapel.

Not for Rent
The 1872 main house has been reserved for the owner and housemate since Kimary Marchese purchased the property in 2001. It is a 1000 square foot, two bedroom and one bathroom unit.
This unit is not for rent, however, these photos are available for curious history lovers. The main house and upstairs were most likely one unit originally. The US government homesteaded the property to a man named James Kelly in 1872. Wheat Ridge natives say it was once the last stop on the Lookout Mountain Stagecoach run. “Before” and “After” photos of this, and the other units, are also available in the History section of this website.
